This year instead of a New Year’s Resolution, I landed on the idea to take 15 trips in 2015. Travelling has always been a passion of mine; I love experiencing new cultures, landscapes, and people. My close friends and family may also call me a bit of an adrenaline-junky as I am usually the one first in line for skydiving, cave-tubing, jungle zip-lining, or swimming with sting-rays (all of which I do not think are actually scary at all and HIGHLY recommend each!!!) As the holidays this past year were coming to an end, I had just spent all of Christmas morning, day, and night with my family, Matt’s family, and then both our families together, I began to think about how incredibly blessed and thankful I am & I began to think about what I would like to accomplish in 2015. I started the usual mental list: read more books, lose weight/tone up, spend more time with my friends, spend more time with my family, spend less time indoors and more time out, etc. And so in an effort to combine both my passion for traveling and my resolutions to spend more time with the ones I love I chose to expand my heart, mind, and my life through experiencing new journeys in the year of 2015! (15 of them to be exact)
Now not all of these trips will be big ones (I am a girl living on a budget after all). Some will be weekend trips to see the family, others will be week long trips to Thailand [BOOKED IT!], but all in all I know no matter how long or far the trip I will come back feeling inspired! Follow along with my #15Tripsin2015 as I gain inspiration and then re-cap each trip with a custom room design inspired from my experiences!
P.S. A little travel love inspiration for your everyday life (my favorite 2015 wall calendar from Rifle Paper Co.)
